To My Moon

Who told you for the first time that you are unloved? Was it a young man who couldn’t bear your light? You are youthful like the crescent moon on Eid sky, brings the festivity. Your youth is imperfect and that’s how it should be.

You are shinier than the Koh-e-Noor. Those stretch marks on your thighs are like rivers that gave birth to all the ancient civilizations. You are alive so your nerves throb sometimes to let that know.

Fickle that you are like all the butterflies in the garden, to search for your true identity. It’s okay that you are lost because that is the only way to be found. You are an individual.

Common people won’t get you. You are the elixir of nature, an essence of love. Your spiritual depth is deeper than any Milkyway that scientists could find.

One day your wisdom would be beneficial for people. You are Lilith who overruled god and welcomed the devil with an open arm. Cause you know no fear, my feisty lady.

You made me that pious poet who got to write the epic on the goddess, that is you. I will pray to you my goddess as my heart is your temple. I dedicate this life to you.

Sometimes the way you use your pen, sharper than Zulfiqar to write the truth it makes me feel like you must be the Joan of arc in your previous life. Oh, woman, I have never seen you touching alcohol nor any other drug but you make me dizzy with your life. Would those razor-sharp lips covered with dark red lipstick be the death of me? I know if I die you will bring me back to life.

Lady, I will be your lover over all the ruins that you could cause to me. Lady, I am not afraid of the storm that you are. Lady, let me be your Sindbad and die within you.

I am woman who's living in her parents basement in her 30s, in short an absolute looser who has seen this world and who complains a lot. A ghost.
