Who informs you when the love is over? Is it the stars or does the astrology page of the newspaper denote the end? When you consider your lover the sun and the moon of your life, only to realize how far they are from human reach.

All the bitter words clank and jingle like a sad tune. You look at them sitting in front of you sipping their coffee peacefully and how last night they were sex chatting with another girl, calling you crazy start to jingle again inside your heart. They thought you were asleep and truly you were asleep and needed a gong to wake up.

In other situations, you probably would confront but this morning you stood in front of the mirror, looked deeper, and found out your heart is so porous that can’t hold any amount of love or sympathy. For the first time, tonight stars were clear and they were glittering, not hazy. Actually, it never was hazy but your eyes were teary every night you looked at the sky.

You are carrying the baggage of the broken hearts and broken dreams as if there’s a long way to go without rest. Your legs tottered remembering all the broken glasses, smashing cups, and broken phone screens. You think “I am too young to be this heartbroken” and there’s them brushing their mouth with which they kiss everyone but you, that same mouth that calls you ugly all the time.

Sunday mornings are usually calm before the storm. Your heart was unsteady to make a big decision. Isn’t this what showed in the movie that you let yourself consume by someone else. You invest into someone so much that it becomes your whole identity as if you are possessed.

You have to pull the chord, with the trembling fingers, tottering lips that want to say those words. In this tug of war, your hands are bleeding and they’re wearing their special cologne which they said they wear only when they go out on dates because apparently women love this scent. This attraction is what made you stuck in this cobweb of love.

There’s no shortage of love in this world but the most should be invested in you by yourself. Go easy on yourself my love, let it go. Breathe.

I am woman who's living in her parents basement in her 30s, in short an absolute looser who has seen this world and who complains a lot. A ghost.
